Good morning Pirates! Coming home today is our concession stand signup sheet. We are in need of volunteers to help on games nights. The proceeds from the concessions help fund our sports equipment and uniform purchases. This would not be possible without our parent volunteers! IGS would like to send a big thank you to the Iuka Fire Department! On October 4th, your Iuka Fire Protection District hosted the Iuka Pre-K, K and 1st grade classes to the Fire Station for some fun and education. We talked about fire safety, rode in fire trucks, sprayed some water, and even got to meet Chief the Dalmatian.

The cross country meet is canceled for today and rescheduled for tomorrow. Same time and place.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 3, will be a 2:15 dismissal.

Don't forget to get signed up for the Community Flu Shot Clinic. Bandy's Pharmacy will be here at Iuka Grade School next Friday, October 6. The appointment time start at 7:30 am for students/staff and 8am for community members. You must be signed up and have an appointment time to receive the vaccine. Also, students and minors who are receiving a vaccine must have a parent or guardian present.
